Our integration project IPLT16

Located in the heart of the Château de La Mercerie, our integration project was created in 2014, with the aim of perpetuating the transmission of knowledge, established by the Réthoré brothers during the construction of this historical heritage.
Indeed, when they began work on the Petit Versailles Charentais, Raymond and Alphonse Réthoré offered contracts and training to the inhabitants of the area. They recruited professional stonemasons, marble workers, carpenters, painters and earthenware workers who came to provide innovative know-how to the workers.
Acquisition of new skills and collective mobilization, between 1930 and 1970, many employees of the site were able to reorient themselves towards new professions.

Today our association supports 9 employees on integration contracts. Two technical supervisors and a socio-professional director/support worker supervise the site on a daily basis. Our multi-skilled agents work on various support activities

  • Building renovation
  • Maintenance and development of green spaces
  • Forestry work
  • Cleaning of premises
  • Tourist activity: Welcoming visitors
  • Event activity: Reservation of the castle, customer relations, logistical preparation of events organized at the Castle

Our employees benefit from training and socio-professional support, in order to build (or rebuild) a new professional project.

Our project is financially supported by the State, the Department and co-financed by the European Union for support and technical supervision actions.
